Michel Auder
Michel Auder brings a six-hour playlist to our humble 2-hour radio show! He and host Nate Heiges talk about his youth hanging out at the iconic Parisian jazz club Le Chat Qui Pêche, moving to NYC in the 70s, his loves and losses, and his exuberant career as an experimental videographer. Michel Auder (Soissons, France, 1945) lives and works in Brooklyn, NY. Auder’s work has been the subject of institutional exhibitions, most recently at MoMa PS1, New York; Museum Brandhorst, Munich; documenta 14, Kassel, Museum Ludwig, Cologne and Kunsthalle Basel, Basel.
His work is represented in public collections internationally, including Centre Georges Pompidou, Paris; FRAC Provence-Alpes-Côtes d’Azur, Marseille; Kadist Art Foundation, Paris and Muhka, Antwerp amongst others.
